“Blond Arrow” Alfredo Di Stefano is considered by some experts as the greatest footballers of all-time. He is arguably the modern era’s finest “all-rounder” a player who controlled games from all positions and angles in central midfield area. He was normally lined up as forward but he could be found organizing in midfield or even the defense before advancing to assist or score himself. He was a powerful player with great stamina, tactical versatility, and vision. He is most associated with Real Madrid and was instrumental in their domination of the European Champions' Cup during the 1950s. He is currently the 4th highest scorer in the history of Spain's top division, and Real Madrid's 2nd highest league goalscorer of all time. He never played any game in World Cup final between 1950 to 1962 due to many reasons such as Argentina refused to participate and Spain failed to qualify and also getting injury. Di Stefano was finished 4th the greatest player of the century by IFFHS and France Football’s poll and 6th by World Soccer’s poll.
