Sandor Kocsis is considered as the greatest target striker in history of Eastern European football, and the finest main striker in the world during the early 1950s. He was an all round forward being a magnificent finisher, very strong, great at positioning and most of all brilliant in aerial battle. He is regarded as one the best players ever as aerial scorer. Kocsis was one of the legendary Mighty Magyars. After the 1956 Hungarian Revolution he moved to Spain where he became a prominent member of the successful CF Barcelona team of the late although he was not a prolific scorer that he was in is earlier career. With Hungary, He played as inside-right but his duty was expected as a final finisher. 1954 was his best year that he was a top scorer of league in the world, and was a top scorer in World Cup tournament. Kocsis was one of the most prolific scorer ever in national level with his best average goal per game in history of the game for players caps more than 40 games.
